Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer/Senior Project Manager for its Parsippany, NJ office. This role focuses on environmental remediation, developing long-range strategies to reduce risk across NJ, NY, and PA with support to other U.S. offices.

Responsibilities include site/investigation, remedial design, and implementing actions under regulatory guidance. The candidate should be flexible, client-focused, able to work independently within a team of engineers, scientists, and field

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related degree.
• Minimum 15 years of experience.
• PE license is required
• New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) a plus
• OSHA 40-hour certification with a current 8-hour annual refresher course certification
• Strong hydrogeological technical skills and ability to secure new clients and lead business development initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic direction for site investigation/remediation and implement environmental projects.
• Negotiate with regulatory agencies and manage compliance with orders, directives, and permits.
• Assign tasks to engineers, scientists, technicians, or administrative staff.
• Interact with clients in the field, at meetings, and on conference calls.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of work, including scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead and assist with proposals, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
