Job summary

Roux in New Jersey seeks an experienced Environmental Project Manager to provide project management and technical leadership for environmental investigation and remediation initiatives. You will guide staff development to meet client and organizational needs.

The role requires a bachelor's in a technical field, 7+ years in environmental consulting, and a professional engineering credential or equivalent experience with licensed professionals. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
Minimum of 7 years of environmental consulting experience.
P.E. certification, or at least 7 years working with a licensed professional.
Proficient in senior-level interpretation including remedial cost estimates and future measures.
Experience in conceptual and detailed remedial design.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Advanced data evaluation and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
Ability to mentor and grow staff on projects.

Responsibilities

Project Management: scheduling and coordinating resources to meet client and firm needs.
Financials: ensure task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing meet standards.
Data review and reporting: quality control of data and final reports.
Proposal preparation and marketing: assist with proposals and cost estimates.
Staff mentoring and training: develop junior staff with senior management.
