Roux Consulting in New Jersey seeks a Senior Geologist / Scientist I to lead environmental investigation and remediation projects, provide technical direction, and mentor junior staff. This regular full-time hybrid position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of environmental consulting experience.

The role emphasizes client interaction, cost estimation, and collaboration with regulatory agencies, with opportunities to grow technical staff and deliver client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 7+ years environmental consulting experience.
• Professional certification (P.G./LSP/LSRP/CIH/CSP, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Strong cost estimation and remedial measures costing skills.
• Experience designing and managing site/remedial Investigation activities and hydrogeologic interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and technical leadership of environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Assist in developing technical staff to meet client and organizational needs.
• Coordinate data collection, QC, and reporting for project principal review.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and support marketing activities.
• Mentor and train junior staff to foster consulting and leadership growth.
