Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or applicable professional license is preferred.
  • Minimum seven years of operational and managerial experience in environmental compliance, permitting, and business development within energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate environmental permitting, licensing, and compliance for wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
  • Lead environmental due diligence and fatal-flaw reviews for development sites and acquisitions.
  • Support California-specific environmental permitting and regulatory activities for renewable energy projects.
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure permits and approvals are secured timely.
  • Oversee environmental budgets related to due diligence, permitting, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with permits during construction and operation.
  • Contract and manage environmental consultants and contractors providing permitting and regulatory services.
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments for potential sites and acquisitions.
  • Advise management on regulatory developments affecting projects.
