Job summary

HydroGeoLogic seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer V to lead complex mining reclamation, remediation, and environmental construction projects across the United States from its Denver, CO area office. You will serve as a senior technical resource, directing remedial design, earthwork, drainage, and water management efforts while mentoring staff.

You’ll coordinate with project managers, clients, regulators, and contractors, reviewing deliverables for quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE registration required; 15+ years of related experience.
• Experience with mining reclamation, remediation, environmental construction, or similar complex projects.
• Ability to lead technical direction and communicate with clients, regulators and teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and engineering/design software; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead CERCLA RI/FS, RD/RA, O&M, or LTM/RCRA projects with senior technical direction.
• Develop studies, designs, and specifications for remediation of contamination.
• Provide technical reviews of drawings, plans, and construction activities.
• Mentor engineers and staff; support development of engineering methods.
• Support business development and proposal efforts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and project teams.
