Job summary

HydroGeoLogic, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer III to support large-scale mining environmental remediation and construction projects in the western US.

You will work with our team to deliver remedial designs and oversee PRP activities, interfacing with clients such as USEPA and state agencies. The role requires at least 6 years of relevant environmental experience, engineering credentials, and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of directly related environmental industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering in a related field.
• Knowledge of CERCLA, DoD, DOE, EPA, and/or RCRA projects.
• Strong technical writing and documentation experience for remedial design documents.
• Ability to conduct completion inspections and maintain records.
• Working knowledge of federal and state occupational regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to engage with leadership and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering studies, plans, designs, and specifications for remediation of environmental contamination.
• PRP oversight and interface with program/project managers, senior staff, government customers, and RA Contractors.
• Prepare submittals and deliverables (RI/FS Reports, SSHP/HASPs, technical memoranda).
• QA/QC on construction projects and field sampling.
• Possibility of up to 50% travel within the U.S. as needed.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and project safety requirements.
