Hydro Environmental Technologies Inc is seeking a Senior Geologist/Senior Environmental Scientist/Senior Engineer with 10+ years of environmental field experience. The role is 100% remote and involves client management, regulatory compliance, and remediation planning across multiple sectors.

The ideal candidate holds a PE or PG license, a BS in a relevant field, extensive site investigation and remediation experience, and strong project management and communication skills to guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field.
• Current PE or PG license is required.
• 10+ years’ experience conducting site investigations, remediation and third-party evaluations.
• Solid understanding of environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices for contaminated site cleanup.
• Excellent project management, prioritization, and multi-project handling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Client Management & Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders; provide updates on project status and outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Interact with regulatory agencies to obtain approvals and permits; prepare comprehensive reports and closure documentation.
• Remediation Planning/Implementation: Develop and oversee remediation plans and strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Insurance Claim Support: Provide technical support to insurance claims professionals for environmental or energy-related claims.
• Site Assessments: Manage site investigations to identify contamination sources and develop remediation strategies; collect and analyze samples.
• Quality Control: Implement QA/QC measures and conduct audits to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
