Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant based in Los Angeles or Irvine to lead client marketing, relationships, and staff development within Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S). The role focuses on industrial hygiene, asbestos, lead-paint, IAQ, and related hazardous materials projects for Southern California and national clients.

The candidate will mentor staff, drive innovation, and oversee proposals and deliverables while leveraging Arcadis'

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in a client-facing environmental consulting role.
• California CAC and Lead Inspector/Assessor certifications.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Understanding of HVAC systems, building construction, renovation, and demolition.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations for asbestos, lead, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships in Southern California and beyond to identify and pursue opportunities.
• Market and manage a range of industrial hygiene and safety services including asbestos, lead paint, IAQ and mold.
• Oversee complex project proposals, reports, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to staff in the Industrial Hygiene discipline.
