Job summary

Chemours is seeking an Environmental Manager for the La Porte Plant in Texas to lead environmental program strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive site performance with an 80/20 environmental/safety focus.

This senior, individual contributor role shapes EHS outcomes, partners with the La Porte Leadership Team, conducts audits, prepares permits, and champions safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership in environmental programs and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to coordinate audits and regulatory interactions.
• Experience in environmental reporting and permit processes.
• Strong communication of environmental requirements to teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership as the site environmental resource.
• Lead site compliance for Clean Water Act, NPDES, SPCC, Storm Water, groundwater protection, RC14001.
• Lead site compliance for Clean Air Act, NSR, NESHAP, MACT, Title V and related emissions programs.
• Manage on-time reporting to federal, state and local agencies (SARA, Title V, emissions inventories, GHG, Hazardous Waste).
• Participate in regulatory audits and agency interactions; lead plant staff audits.
• Prepare environmental permit applications/renewals and evaluate changes for environmental impact.
