Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA, LLC seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer - Air Lead to head air compliance for the BMC site in La Porte, TX. The role involves NSR/PSD/PBR/Title V permits and close collaboration with Operations, Laboratory, Maintenance, Safety and Management.

You will report to the Environmental Manager and serve as the primary O&P liaison for EPA and state agency interactions, driving continuous improvement in environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 10+ years of plant experience in regulatory compliance and environmental permitting.
• Advanced degree may be considered for relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead air regulatory compliance activities for the BMC site.
• Interact with EPA, TCEQ and other agencies on air permits and compliance.
• Develop and implement environmental strategies balancing regulatory and business needs.
• Maintain and report environmental performance data and trends.
• Provide technical guidance on compliance issues related to air permits and related systems.
