Job summary

MRO Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer, Advisor to act as an experienced technical resource within the Enterprise Applications team. You will guide design, delivery, maintenance, and documentation of enterprise services such as Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, monitoring, patching, and Azure AVD/VDI to ensure reliability, security, and operational maturity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and enterprise service experience.
5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure services, or enterprise IT roles.
Proven contributor, owner, or escalation resource for enterprise services/platforms.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, AD, Entra ID, Windows Server, and identity lifecycle processes.
Experience with patching, monitoring, observability, certificate lifecycle management, and Azure AVD/VDI.
Experience inventorying third-party apps, tools, and vendor ownership.
Ability to document, explain, and align services with product and security requirements.
Experience with incident management, change records, and ITSM tools.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical resource for enterprise application and infrastructure services (Microsoft 365, AD, Entra ID, monitoring/observability).
Provide guidance on service design, lifecycle management, security alignment, and continuous improvement.
Maintain inventories for third-party applications and vendor contacts with ownership details.
Document how services support products, development workflows, and security requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, procurement, and operations on service priorities and improvements.
Define dependencies, standards, handoffs, escalation paths, and lifecycle plans for shared services.
Translate standards into runbooks, ticket workflows, monitoring responses, and maintenance schedules.
Lead technical initiatives, changes, deployments, and certificate renewals in line with change control.
