Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer for the M365 Platform to lead enterprise identity initiatives across Entra ID and Active Directory.

You will design, implement, and operate authentication, authorization, and identity management at scale, including cloud-first migration, secure access controls, and automation via PowerShell and Microsoft Graph. The role requires broad expertise in Entra, AD, PKI, and modern authentication, along with strong collaboration across Security,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience with Entra ID at enterprise scale and at least 5 years of total Microsoft identity and directory platform experience that includes production Active Directory engineering.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory schema, ACLs, SID history, and delegation models.
• Strong ability to analyze log data with KQL across Entra sign-in, audit, and provisioning events.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, engineering, and implementation of the enterprise identity plane across Entra ID and Active Directory, serving as the final internal technical authority on Entra.
• Plan and execute cloud-first, Entra-authoritative deployment, including greenfield forest and tenant standup and de-hybridization.
• Design, pilot, and enforce Conditional Access and phishing-resistant authentication at scale, with staged validation and gradual enforcement.
