Job summary

MRO is seeking a Systems Engineer, Advisor to advance enterprise application and infrastructure services across the organization. You will guide design, implementation, and operations for critical platforms including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and AVD/VDI, while coordinating patches, monitoring, and security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and enterprise service experience.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure services, or related enterprise IT.
• Experience as a technical contributor, service owner, or escalation resource.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Server, and identity services.
• Experience in patching, monitoring, observability, certificate lifecycle management, and Azure AVD/VDI.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for enterprise application and infrastructure services (M365, AD, Entra ID, monitoring, patching, AVD/VDI, certificates).
• Provide guidance on service design, lifecycle management, and security alignment across platforms.
• Maintain inventories for third‑party applications and tools with ownership, status, and contacts.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, procurement, and operations to align services with business needs.
• Translate standards into runbooks, workflows, ticketing processes, and deployment practices.
• Coordinate and deliver changes, upgrades, renewals, and outages in accordance with change control.
