Job summary

Softchoice is seeking an Identity and Messaging Architect to lead AD, Microsoft 365, and Exchange design and implementation for enterprise clients. You will act as the technical authority on AD, M365, Exchange (on-prem and cloud), and migration management, guiding upgrades, configurations, migrations, security policy design, and user training.

You will mentor teams, pursue certifications, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in a client-facing professional services role or 10+ years in progressively senior industry roles.
• Certifications: Active Directory, M365 Fundamentals, M365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Windows Server Hybrid, Demand Migration for M365 and AD, ITIL v4 Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AD, M365, and Exchange solutions meeting client requirements and timelines.
• Serve as the technical authority for AD, M365, Exchange (on-premise and online) and migration management implementations, including upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security policy design, administration, and user training.
• Collaborate with internal staff, end-users, and vendor representatives on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting per contract SLAs.
• Mentor Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on technical skills and soft skills needed for success.
• Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of AD, M365, Exchange, and migration tools; pursue vendor training and certifications.
• Represent Softchoice as a technical authority at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements.
