Job summary

S2I2 Inc. seeks an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (IT SME) for enterprise storage management with DoD experience. The role directs architecture for storage and data protection across SAN, NAS, and backup systems, coordinating across NIPRNet and SIPRNet.

Active Secret clearance with IT-I eligibility is required; on-site work Monday–Friday with leadership briefings to DLA leaders and governance for STIG/IAVA compliance.

Qualifications

• IAT Level II baseline certification required.
• One of: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dell DCA-ISM, NetApp NCDA, NetApp Hybrid Cloud admin/architect/implementation, NetApp CIE SAN, Cohesity DataProtect, or NetBackup certification.
• Minimum two years advisory/managerial DoD/DoW or Federal enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Minimum five years hands-on enterprise SAN experience (FC zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, LUN, RAID, NAS).
• Minimum five years hands-on backup/restore experience.
• Minimum five years working with DoD/DoW IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead for enterprise storage and data protection platforms.
• Set architecture direction and lead engineering teams across multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure STIG and IAVA compliance and brief DLA leadership.
