Job summary

S2I2, Inc. seeks an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (IT SME) to lead design and security of enterprise storage and data protection for the Defense Logistics Agency.

You will direct architecture, govern SAN/NAS/object storage, and coordinate DR across multiple sites and cloud environments on secure networks. The role requires hands-on storage expertise, DoD/FM experience, and the ability to brief leadership on complex risks and mitigations.

Qualifications

• IAT Level II baseline certification or equivalent.
• Minimum two years advisory or managerial DoD/DoW or Federal enterprise infra experience.
• Minimum five years hands-on enterprise SAN (FC zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, LUN, RAID, NAS).
• Minimum five years hands-on enterprise backup/restore experience.
• Minimum five years DoD/DoW IT systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead for DLA enterprise storage and data protection platforms.
• Set architecture direction and lead engineering teams.
• Ensure STIG and IAVA compliance across environments.
• Brief DLA leadership on status and risks.
• Oversee SAN, NAS, object storage, backup, and DR across five DLA sites and multi-clouds.
