Job summary

S2I2, Inc is seeking an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (IT SME) for enterprise storage management supporting the Defense Logistics Agency. You will lead architecture decisions for SAN/NAS/object storage, backup, and disaster recovery across five DLA sites on NIPRNet and SIPRNet, with multi-cloud integration (Azure, AWS, OCI).

The role requires IAT Level II baseline certification and 5+ years in DoD/Federal IT systems, plus hands-on SAN and backup expertise.

Qualifications

IAT Level II baseline certification and one of AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dell DCA-ISM, NetApp NCDA, NetApp Hybrid Cloud Admin/Architect/Implementation Engineer, NetApp CIE SAN, Cohesity DataProtect, or NetBackup certification.
Minimum two (2) years in an advisory or managerial role supporting DoD/DoW or Federal enterprise infrastructure.
Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with enterprise SAN (FC zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, LUN, RAID, NAS).
Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with enterprise backup and restore solutions.
Minimum five (5) years working with DoD or DoW IT systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior technical lead for DLA's enterprise storage and data protection platforms.
Set architecture direction and lead engineering teams.
Ensure STIG and IAVA compliance and brief DLA leadership.
Oversee SAN, NAS, object storage, backup and disaster recovery operations across multiple sites and multi-cloud environments.
