Job summary

S2I2, Inc. seeks an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (IT SME) specializing in Enterprise Storage Management for the Defense Logistics Agency. You will lead architecture, ensure compliance, and guide DoD-grade storage and data protection across multiple sites and clouds.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, security clearances, and hands-on leadership of SAN/NAS/backup operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain availability and resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of hands-on enterprise SAN experience (FC zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, LUN, RAID, NAS).
• Minimum five (5) years of hands-on backup/restore experience.
• At least two (2) years in advisory/managerial DoD/DoW or federal enterprise infrastructure support.

Responsibilities

• Set architecture direction for enterprise storage and data protection platforms.
• Lead engineering teams and brief DLA leadership on status and risk.
• Ensure STIG and IAVA compliance across five DLA sites and multi-cloud environments.
