Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead and own high-priority storage initiatives across enterprise storage, SAN, NAS, and data protection.

You will guide architecture standards and collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure resiliency and recovery readiness. The role demands hands-on leadership, governance, and strategic modernization across Dell PowerMax, NetApp, and related platforms, with strong focus on scalability and reliability for critical business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• 8+ years delivering software-based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage architectures and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and strategic direction for enterprise storage and data protection.
• Define standards, roadmaps, and strategies for storage, data protection, and infrastructure resiliency.
• Lead design and optimization of large-scale Dell PowerMax, NetApp and related environments.
• Offer architectural leadership for SAN Fabric infrastructure to ensure scalability and availability.
• Serve as escalation point for complex storage, replication, backup, and recovery issues.
• Drive lifecycle management and modernization initiatives across enterprise environments.
