Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Chief Engineer to lead storage architecture and data protection initiatives across enterprise environments.

You will drive strategic direction, guide large-scale PowerMax and NetApp deployments, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure resiliency and disaster recovery readiness. This role requires strong leadership, deep storage expertise, and the ability to set standards and governance for long-term infrastructure success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, engineering, computer science, mathematics, any science, or equivalent work experience
• Eight or more years of experience delivering software-based solutions

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and strategic direction for storage and data protection technologies
• Define enterprise architecture standards, roadmaps, and technology strategies for storage and infrastructure
• Lead design and optimization of large-scale Dell PowerMax, NetApp, and related environments
• Architect and guide Brocade and Cisco SAN Fabric infrastructure for scalability and reliability
• Serve as escalation point for complex storage, SAN, replication, and disaster recovery issues
• Drive lifecycle management and modernization across enterprise storage platforms
• Partner with infra, security, operations, cloud, and applications teams to ensure recovery readiness
• Establish engineering standards and governance for long-term viability and supportability
