Job summary

Middesk is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to own the technical win on its largest and most complex opportunities with banks, fintechs, and other regulated institutions.

You will design integration architectures, lead security and vendor risk reviews, and build a compelling business case for executive sponsors. You’ll drive product direction by translating enterprise requirements into roadmap input and mentor a growing Solutions Engineering team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a pre-sales or customer-facing technical role, including 3+ years on enterprise deals.
• Proven track record of technical wins with large financial institutions or regulated enterprises
• Experience selling or supporting B2B SaaS products with API-first or data-centric integrations at enterprise scale
• Deep fluency with APIs, webhooks, data workflows, and SQL; able to read and debug integrations
• Experience leading formal proofs of concept and competitive bake-offs with defined success criteria
• Experience owning large RFP responses, security reviews, and third-party risk management assessments

Responsibilities

• Own the technical win on enterprise deals by partnering with Enterprise Account Executives across multi-month sales cycles.
• Design and run structured evaluations with defined success criteria and engage in large-scale data evaluations.
• Design enterprise integration architectures for high-volume, regulated environments with real-time and batch patterns.
• Build the business case for executive sponsors by translating technical findings into business language.
• Ensure a clean handoff to post-sales by documenting solution designs and commitments.
• Champion the voice of the enterprise prospect internally to inform roadmap priorities and positioning.
• Build enterprise capability by creating reusable assets and mentoring other SEs.
