Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise for its Field Engineering team in the South Central US. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to large customers, designing solutions using the dbt platform and leading the proof-of-value process from ingestion to transformation.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align offerings with customer needs, drive adoption, and expand relationships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data replication, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI
• Strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and modern data warehousing architectures
• Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modeling
• Experience with cloud data warehouses/lakes, transformation tooling (dbt or similar), data catalogs, and BI tools
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Understand enterprise customers' business, use cases, and requirements across data replication, transformation, and modeling
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences on the dbt value proposition
• Lead proof-of-value from ingestion through transformation
• Guide dbt Cloud proof-of-concept implementations for enterprise clients
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align solutions with customer needs
• Maintain relationships with Enterprise customers and partners (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks)
• Own the technical relationship across the full lifecycle from pre-sale to adoption and expansion
• Stay current on trends in data movement and analytics engineering and participate in the dbt community
