Job summary

Fivetran in Boston metro is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise to advise large customers on using dbt and Fivetran data tooling. You will design architectures, guide deployments, and partner with Sales to demonstrate value across the customer lifecycle.

You will Lead technical discovery, build trusted executive relationships, and translate business needs into actionable data solutions using cloud data warehouses and dbt.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role within data, analytics, or BI
• Strong technical foundation in SQL, data transformation, ETL/ELT, and data modeling
• Strong understanding of modern cloud data warehouse, lake house, and analytics architectures
• Ability to uncover and translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions and measurable outcomes
• Ability to establish credibility and build trusted relationships with stakeholders ranging from data practitioners to senior executives
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while collaborating across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer teams

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise customers, linking requirements to outcomes
• Design enterprise-grade data transformation and analytics architectures using dbt
• Partner with Sales to communicate the technical and business value of the dbt platform
• Lead customer evaluations and proof-of-value engagements
• Build trusted relationships with data practitioners and executives
• Guide customers through architecture, security, governance, and deployment considerations
• Partner across the customer lifecycle to support adoption and expansion
• Bring customer and field insights to Product and Engineering to help influence roadmap
• Build strong relationships with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and other partners
• Contribute best practices and thought leadership to Field Engineering and dbt community
