Job summary

Pavion is seeking an Applications Engineer III to join our shared services team in a role focused on enterprise security system design, deployment, and integration across access control, video management, and intrusion platforms.

The position emphasizes collaboration with customer IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams, overseeing multi-site deployments, and ensuring system reliability and governance through detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with enterprise access control and video management systems, including 3+ years in an Applications Engineer or equivalent role.
• Expert knowledge of SQL, Windows Server clustering, virtualization, and networking.
• Demonstrated success leading large enterprise deployments and integrations.
• Advanced manufacturer certifications required (LenelS2 Master, Genetec Advanced, Milestone Expert, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise-class security system infrastructures, integrating access control, video management, intrusion, and other security platforms.
• Lead large-scale deployments and system commissioning, including database replication, high-availability clusters, API integrations, and multi-site synchronization.
• Evaluate and approve system designs for technical feasibility, scalability, redundancy, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Collaborate with customer IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to align with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee integration of third-party platforms and enterprise IT systems for interoperability.
