Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel - Enterprise Sales to support enterprise SaaS contracting nationwide from a remote US-based position.

You will partner with sales, product, engineering, and compliance teams to draft and negotiate complex customer agreements, manage data privacy and revenue recognition issues, and provide business-focused legal guidance across the enterprise sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience negotiating SaaS contracts with enterprise customers.
• Experience handling data protection, cybersecurity, and revenue recognition in contracts.
• Strong understanding of business goals and product context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to leadership.
• Willing to take on new responsibilities as they arise.
• Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Support Central/West US Sales teams, plus Canada and LATAM, as a trusted legal partner.
• Negotiate contracts from drafting through execution; manage post-signature compliance.
• Provide practical, business-focused advice on customer requests and contract issues.
• Review customer requests and coordinate with internal partners within guidelines.
• Draft terms and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance for regulated customers.
