Job summary

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking a Business Process Engineer to evaluate, design, and optimize complex enterprise workflows in cleared government environments. You will map as-is and to-be processes, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable IT modernization and policy alignment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with BPMN 2.0 and Visio, and the ability to translate requirements into system specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, MIS, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in business process re-engineering, process modeling, operational analysis, or CPI.
• Must possess an active U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret clearance required).
• Exceptional facilitation, interview, and mediation skills with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Model complex business, operational, and technical workflows; map as-is and to-be processes using BPMN 2.0 and UML.
• Conduct root-cause analyses, value-stream mapping, and gap analyses to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency and compliance.
• Lead discovery workshops with technical leads, program managers, system architects, and stakeholders to capture requirements and dependencies.
• Establish baselines and KPIs; design dashboards and analytics to track CPI over time.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, process charters, playbooks, and governance artifacts; collaborate on change-management and training plans.
