Job summary
Plaid Inc. is seeking a seasoned enterprise mortgage sales leader to drive adoption of Plaid’s API and mortgage solutions with top lenders and servicers. You will own a 50-account book, navigate complex procurement, and partner with product and GTM teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
In this role you will articulate business value, build senior relationships, and close multi-product deals in a fast-growing environment. Location is San Francisco with remote-friendly options.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of quota-carrying experience in a new-revenue role, with 5+ years in large enterprise accounts.
- Experience selling APIs or developer-oriented products to business buyers.
- Strong communication, discovery, executive presentations, and cross-functional alignment.
- Prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating with a consultative, product-centric mindset.
- Working knowledge of mortgage ecosystem and lender relationships.
- Experience selling a broad, multi-product portfolio with overlays.
- Comfort working in a high-growth environment and building processes/tools.
Responsibilities
- Own a named book of approximately 50 enterprise mortgage accounts, spanning lenders and servicers.
- Sell the full Plaid product portfolio across the mortgage vertical.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for enterprise mortgage accounts.
- Coordinate with product sales specialists and other pod members to bring right expertise.
- Build executive relationships and identify business value and impact of Plaid.
- Articulate Plaid’s mortgage technology advantage to lenders and partners.
- Win as a team with SDR, account manager, TAM, implementation, and others.
