Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and at least five years of progressively responsible experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure.
Experience leading complex IT operations and infrastructure initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, lifecycle planning, and disaster recovery activities.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, endpoint management, Intune, patch management, and identity services.
Experience managing virtualized and hybrid-cloud environments, including backup, recovery, monitoring, and business continuity planning.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking and cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, network services, vulnerability remediation, security controls, and incident response.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and service delivery, including communicating with stakeholders, coordinating projects, managing escalations, and developing technology recommendations.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues independently, communicate risks effectively, and lead response efforts during critical outages or service disruptions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop technical standards, documentation, training materials, reports, and project plans for diverse audiences.
Ability to participate in after-hours support, maintenance activities, and emergency response for critical systems and services.

Responsibilities

Administration of virtual server and desktop environment, including management and provisioning of storage and virtual networking.
Server installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading.
Monitoring server availability and performance.
Performing emergency troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Performing emergency troubleshooting and problem resolution, including after hours response as part of a team on call 24O7O365.
Network administration of Ethernet wired and wireless technologies, firewall/router management.
End user desktop support.
Develop standards and recommendations for critical functions and services, such as system configuration and backup & recovery.
Develop and maintain written documentation to support the maintenance of production quality services.
Working as part of a team without close supervision.
