Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training.
• At least four years experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to document, build and manage all aspects of an information technology infrastructure
• 5 years of Windows system administration experience
• 5 years of cloud virtualization administration experience
• 5 years of Linux system administration experience

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain campus virtualization and storage area network infrastructure.
• Incorporate information security standards from the ground up in new systems implementation and related services.
• Evaluate and research enterprise solutions to address campus needs.
• Routinely monitor systems for service availability and remediate system availability issues.
• Monitor ITSM queue for and address new and escalated service and support requests.
• Notify system stakeholders in the event of system availability issues. Notify IT Leadership of service and system issues.
• Create, review and update system and storage documentation.
• Maintain the complete life cycle for assigned systems.
• Serve as backup to the Systems Administration Manager.
