Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Business Applications Developer III to design, develop, implement, and maintain sophisticated enterprise software applications. You will integrate systems (ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce) and build API/event-driven patterns while owning identity platform engineering with SSO, OAuth/OIDC, and SCIM provisioning.

You will lead vendor strategy, automate IT/Operations workflows, and ensure integration reliability. A Secret U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Business Admin, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analyst systems or related field.
• Substitution: experience may replace degree.
• 9+ years of related experience if no degree.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Experience with .NET (C#), WCF, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, Node, TypeScript.
• SQL development, application integration, web development (HTML/DHTML/CSS).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Proven experience leading development projects.
• Experience designing integration architecture and patterns for enterprise systems and event-driven platforms.
• Experience designing identity federation and SSO solutions using OAuth/OIDC/SAML.
• Experience with Python or Go for automation.
• Experience leading vendor evaluations and monitoring observability.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between enterprise systems (ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, and others) and the SNC developer platform
• Build and maintain API and event-driven integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, webhooks, messagequeues, event streaming) for reliable, scalable data exchange
• Own identity platform engineering - integrating SSO, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM provisioning, and directory services across enterprise applications
• Lead technology vendor strategy and evaluation for enterprise tooling - defining selection criteria, conducting evaluations, and managing vendor relationships
• Build enterprise automation solutions that reduce manual workflow overhead across IT, Operations, and Engineering processes
• Maintain integration platform reliability - monitoring, alerting, and on-call for integration failures
• Document integration patterns, publish reusable connectors and SDKs, and enable other teams to build on the integration platform
