Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Workday Technical Lead to design and build scalable Workday integrations, Extend apps, and data architectures. You will partner with the Product Owner and stakeholders to transform ambiguous requirements into solid technical solutions.

You will lead development across Integrations, Orchestrate, and iPaaS/Middleware, focusing on secure patterns and modernization across the SNC Workday platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience with at least 2+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Workday Orchestrate proficiency.
• Workday Certifications in Orchestrate/Integrations.
• Experience with Workday Business Processes and Security Configuration.
• Experience building Workday Extend and RaaS solutions.
• Strong knowledge of XML, SQL, JSON, REST, SOAP, GraphQL.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft or data platforms like Snowflake/Power BI.
• Security protocols: OAuth, SAML.
• Ability to design solutions under ambiguous requirements.
• Experience with integration testing and release management.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design efforts for complex Workday initiatives with ambiguity.
• Translate business needs into technical designs and specifications.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday solutions across tools and patterns.
• Execute platform operations and proactive monitoring for integrations.
• Partner with Product Owner and stakeholders to drive solutions to completion.
• Stay current on Workday advancements and AI/LLM opportunities.
