Job summary

Areti Group | B Corp™ is seeking a Principal Engineer – Enterprise Integrations to lead complex enterprise integrations, shaping architecture, data handling and client delivery across engagements.

You will work with clients and internal teams to understand challenges, design scalable, reliable solutions and drive architectural decisions that balance technical quality with business needs. This role blends coding, architecture and stakeholder conversations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience delivering complex enterprise technology or integration projects.
• 5+ years' experience working with modern cloud data, integration or data engineering technologies.
• 5+ years' programming experience and the ability to understand existing codebases.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data, integrations and system dependencies.
• Experience designing solutions rather than simply implementing predefined requirements.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The confidence to challenge requirements constructively.
• The ability to explain complex technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong judgement around scalability, maintainability, data quality and technical debt.
• The ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design for complex enterprise integrations.
• Provide technical consultancy to client-facing and delivery teams.
• Work directly with senior stakeholders to understand technical challenges and recommend solutions.
• Design and deliver robust, scalable integrations across systems.
• Understand enterprise data flows, transformations and dependencies.
• Investigate existing systems, integrations and codebases.
• Hands-on development, troubleshooting and problem solving when required.
• Identify technical risks and trade-offs early.
• Feed recurring technical challenges into Engineering and Product.
• Develop reusable integration patterns, standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and technical consultants.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering and delivery teams.
