Aritzia is seeking a Senior Principal / Principal Engineer, Enterprise Integrations to set multi-year technical direction across foundational platforms that connect commerce, retail, and enterprise ecosystems. You will act as the definitive technical authority, write critical production code, mentor engineers, and champion engineering standards that elevate our technology and brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's preferred
• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience with 7+ years in technical leadership
• Expert-level coding across Java, Python, C# and related ecosystems
• Cloud-native architecture with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform/IaC, and CI/CD
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems (99.99% availability)
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms and API governance
• Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and developer velocity initiatives
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and mentor engineers across teams

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technical vision and system design for enterprise integrations
• Serve as the technical authority across domains for architecture decisions
• Write production-grade code and set engineering craftsmanship standards
• Translate architectural intent into resilient, scalable implementations
• Own platform quality attributes: availability, performance, cost, security, observability
• Establish and evolve engineering standards and workflows
• Lead engineering maturity initiatives and Communities of Excellence
• Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers to accelerate delivery
• Drive AI-enabled developer velocity through modern tools and practices
• Influence technology strategy with risk and cost analyses
