US-based | East Coast or Texas preferred
Lead complex integrations. Shape technical solutions. Influence how enterprise systems work together.
We're partnering with an established B2B SaaS business that is expanding its US engineering and delivery capability and is looking for a Principal Engineer – Enterprise Integrations.
This is a senior technical role for someone who operates comfortably across engineering, architecture, data and client delivery.
You won't simply receive a specification and build what has been requested.
You'll work with clients and internal technical teams to understand complex problems, investigate existing environments, challenge assumptions and design solutions that are reliable, scalable and maintainable.
If you're someone who enjoys moving between architecture, data, code and stakeholder conversations, this could be a great opportunity.
Enterprise integrations are rarely difficult because two systems need to communicate.
The real complexity lies in understanding how information moves through an organisation, what that data represents, how systems depend on one another and what happens when something changes.
You'll need to think about:
You'll be expected to advise, challenge and influence, not simply implement predefined requirements.
You'll provide senior technical leadership across complex enterprise integration programmes, including:
We're looking for strong experience across enterprise integration, cloud and data technologies, including:
Enterprise integration technologies
SQL & relational databases
ETL / ELT
CI/CD & DevOps
You don't need to be an expert in every technology.
What's important is that you have a strong technical foundation and can understand unfamiliar systems, investigate existing implementations and make sound architectural decisions.
Your current title could be:
Principal Engineer | Integration Architect | Solutions Architect | Technical Consultant | Data Architect | Lead Integration Engineer
The title isn't important.
We're looking for someone who has developed from a strong hands‑on technical background into architecture, consulting and technical leadership.
The business is investing in its US presence, giving you the opportunity to join at a point where your technical input can have a genuine impact.
Data and technical strategy
How the technical function scales
You’ll work on complex enterprise problems, have exposure to senior stakeholders and help shape how integrations are designed and delivered as the organisation grows.
This isn’t about maintaining the status quo. It’s about helping define what good looks like.
We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to build an integration.
We’re looking for someone who understands the technology, the data, the customer and the long‑term consequences of the solution they’re recommending.
Someone who can get deep into a technical problem, challenge a requirement, guide stakeholders towards a better solution and help engineers deliver it.
If you’re the person people turn to when an enterprise integration problem is too complex, too ambiguous or too important for a standard approach...
we’d love to hear from you.
