Job summary

BECU seeks a Sr. Enterprise Events Manager to translate business priorities into impactful, large-scale events. You will lead strategy, design experiences, and partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable outcomes that strengthen culture and engagement.

You will manage end-to-end event programs, mentor cross-functional teams, and own budgets while collaborating with vendors to ensure innovative, high-quality experiences across locations. Hybrid role with frequent Seattle-area travel.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or related field.
• 7 years of corporate event planning experience, including ownership of large-scale events (500+ attendees).
• This role occasionally requires standing, moving, and lifting 40+ lbs during onsite events.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and evolve enterprise event strategies and attendee experiences aligned with priorities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executives with guidance on opportunities, risks, and design.
• Own end-to-end planning, design, execution, and post-event evaluation of high-visibility events.
• Lead cross-functional teams, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure momentum.
• Manage budgets with fiscal accountability and ensure quality event execution.
• Oversee vendors and production partners to deliver technical components.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships for value and quality.
• Design scalable planning playbooks and operating models for consistency.
• Develop logistics, risk management, and contingency strategies for multi-location events.
• Establish measurement frameworks and pursue continuous improvement.
