Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Senior Event Manager to plan and deliver the most complex programs for our Experience Studio team, built around a single enterprise client. You will oversee multiday, executive events with 500+ attendees and budgets above $1 million, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with producers on strategy, content, and approvals.

You will manage budgets, schedules, suppliers, and client communications, ensuring flawless execution and post-program debrief recommendations.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years planning corporate meetings, events, and incentives with full program responsibility.
• Experience managing programs with budgets above $1 million and accurate forecasts.
• Experience leading multiday executive programs for 500+ attendees and onsite teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning with the producer, translating briefs into deliverable plans.
• Manage budgets from initial estimate through reconciliation.
• Develop detailed planning calendars and ensure on-time delivery.
• Direct onsite logistics and manage teams of ten or more.
• Mentor junior Event Managers and review plans.
• Raise risks with recommendations to the Studio Operations Manager.
