Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engagement Manager in the United States to own end-to-end delivery of mainframe modernization engagements, from assessment to handover. You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy, influencing delivery teams, customers and partners while maintaining scope, schedule and budget.

This is a senior individual contributor role within the Enterprise Services group. You will drive complex engagements across multiple workstreams, mentor less experienced PMs,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience delivering technology projects, including vendor-side or consulting delivery to external customers.
• End-to-end ownership with accountability for scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Experience delivering software implementation or systems integration in complex, production-critical customer environments.
• Experience delivering under Fixed Price and Time & Materials models.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, written reporting and customer communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under limited to general supervision, weighing complex delivery problems.
• University degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute mainframe modernization software delivery and implementation engagements for assigned customers, from initiation through closeout, with a high degree of autonomy.
• Hold accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk objectives on engagements spanning multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Support executive-level steering meetings with delivery narrative, data and options.
• Provide guidance and review of work produced by less experienced project managers.
• Contribute to development and standardization of PMO processes, templates and best practices across Enterprise Services.
