Job summary

Truist is seeking a Cloud Governance & Operations professional in the United States. You will partner with business and technology teams to drive cloud onboarding, governance, operational readiness, and continuous improvement across AWS and Azure environments.

You will analyze data, document requirements, and develop data-driven recommendations to improve processes, reduce risk, and ensure secure, compliant cloud adoption. Collaboration across IT, security, and risk teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years in technology operations.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud tech, security, compliance, and risk.
Experience with technology governance.

Responsibilities

Executes processes to support delivery, stability, and improvement of technology services.
Monitors performance and identifies issues, recommending workflow/tool enhancements.
Conducts root-cause analysis and suggests design-level improvements to tools and runbooks.
Evaluates trends and risks to influence business operations and technology strategy.
Identifies automation opportunities to drive scalability and compliance.
Supports vendor interactions and ensures alignment with architectural expectations.
Participates in incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
