Job summary

Tennr is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer in New York to lead enterprise-scale implementations for senior health-system clients and enterprise partners. You will guide discovery, business alignment, go-live, and expansion, acting as a technical advisor and project lead with cross-functional teams.

This role sits in a high-performance delivery pod and directly shapes go-to-market strategy. You will mentor juniors, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales, and own delivery outcomes

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS delivery or solution design.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
• Strong understanding of APIs, systems integration, and architecture.
• Proven ability to lead complex engagements with large enterprise customers.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to executives and technical staff.
• Experience navigating complex org structures with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving with scalable solutions.
• Business acumen and domain fluency in healthcare or similar industries.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated mentoring ability and drive for best practices.
• High ownership mindset and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enterprise implementations from discovery to post-go-live.
• Align cross-functional teams and manage delivery, risks, and change.
• Conduct operational audits to identify workflow gaps and automation opportunities.
• Design scalable solutions using Tennr's platform and APIs.
• Rethink processes with automation best practices, not just legacy replication.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to shape scope.
• Maintain documentation and enable knowledge transfer.
• Support sales strategy and influence product roadmap.
