Job summary

The role requires extensive EA experience, cloud expertise across platforms, and leadership in large-scale environments. Travel for training or meetings may be required, with remote work options and a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in design, development and testing of software applications.
• 3-5 years in cloud technologies, cloud migration or Enterprise Architecture.
• Progressive experience as a senior application/solution architect or technical lead.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns and cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strong advocate for the business within IT and ensure that technology execution aligns with business strategy.
• Help achieve value-driven outcomes by ensuring Humana’s Technology Strategy is executed in alignment with corporate vision and segment business strategies.
• Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with application teams and stakeholders to deliver value through architecture guidance.
• Serve as an evangelist for the lean enterprise architecture practice within an agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to map business vision to value streams and capabilities.
• Document current state architecture, value streams and domain capability models.
• Define and maintain technology strategies and align portfolio to opportunities identified in rationalization.
• Enable innovation of cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) with Segment teams and Shared Services.
• Evaluate new technologies and develop architecture standards.
• Choose appropriate cloud services and tools to ensure robust architecture.
