Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and IT portfolio execution. You will mentor architects across Humana and drive critical technology modernization initiatives while ensuring value-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience as a senior application and/or solution architect or technical lead in large company.
• 10+ years hands-on design, development, and testing of software applications.
• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud technologies, Cloud migration or Enterprise Architecture.
• Expert knowledge with enterprise architecture pattern development and cloud architectures in an agile delivery context.

Responsibilities

• Serve as advocate for the business within IT and ensure technology aligns with strategy.
• Drive value by executing Humana's Technology Strategy with business plans.
• Lead enterprise technology modernization with application teams and stakeholders.
• Champion lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate to map business vision to value streams, capabilities and functions.
• Document current state architecture, value streams and domain capability models.
• Rationalize portfolio to align value streams with technology capabilities and reduce risk and cost.
• Define and maintain technology strategies and end-state architectures.
• Enable innovation of cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) with Segment teams.
• Evaluate new technologies and develop architecture standards.
