Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and guide IT portfolio execution. You will mentor other architects and collaborate with business and technical teams to map capabilities to value streams and define enduring technology roadmaps.

This remote role requires 10+ years in architecture, cloud experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP, and strong enterprise-pattern knowledge. Travel occasionally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience as a senior application and/or solution architect or technical lead in a large company.
• 10+ years hands-on design, development, and testing of software applications.
• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud technologies, Cloud migration or Enterprise Architecture.
• Expert knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture pattern development and application, cloud architectures and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advocate for the business within IT and ensure technology execution aligns with business strategy.
• Help achieve value-driven outcomes by aligning Humana’s Technology Strategy with corporate vision and segment strategies.
• Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives and deliver value through architecture guidance.
• Promote and drive adoption of lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to map business vision to value streams and capabilities.
• Document current state architecture, value streams, and domain capability models with leadership.
• Define technology strategies to deliver opportunities identified in portfolio rationalization and business value.
