Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and drive IT portfolio execution. The role emphasizes mentorship across enterprise and solution architects, cloud adoption, and agile delivery in a large healthcare-focused organization.

You will collaborate with business and IT leaders to map value streams to capabilities, shape cloud strategies, and guide modernization initiatives while ensuring robust architecture practices across Humana.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
Progressive experience as a senior application and/or solution architect or technical lead in a large company.
10+ years hands-on design, development, and testing of software applications.
3–5 years of experience in Cloud technologies, Cloud migration or Enterprise Architecture.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strong advocate for the business within IT and ensure technology execution aligns with business strategy.
Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with stakeholders to deliver value through architecture guidance.
Document current state architecture, value streams, and domain capability models with leadership and teams.
Define and maintain technology strategies, including intermediate and end state architectures, aligned to business value.
