Job summary

Humana Inc. is hiring a Lead Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and guide IT portfolio execution. You will mentor enterprise, solution, and technology architects across Humana while driving value through architecture leadership.

You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to map capabilities, maintain architecture standards, and lead cloud strategy initiatives across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms. Remote-friendly role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience as a senior application/solution architect or technical lead in a large company.
• 10+ years hands-on design, development, and testing of software applications.
• 3-5 years of experience in cloud technologies, cloud migration or enterprise architecture.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns, cloud architectures and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the business within IT and ensure technology execution aligns with business strategy.
• Drive value by aligning Humana’s Technology Strategy with corporate and segment business strategies.
• Lead enterprise technology modernization initiatives with application teams and stakeholders.
• Promote and drive adoption of lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate to map business vision to value streams, capabilities and functions.
• Document current state architecture, value streams and domain capability models with teams and leadership.
• Rationalize portfolio to map coverage between Value Streams, Capabilities and Technology Capabilities; identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
• Define and maintain technology strategies, architectures and portfolio alignment to deliver opportunities identified by portfolio rationalization and business strategy.
• Enable ongoing cloud evolution (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in collaboration with Segment teams and Shared Services.
• Evaluate new technologies for continuous improvement and develop architecture standards.
