Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and drive IT portfolio execution. You will guide architecture across Humana’s landscape, mentor architects, and champion value-driven outcomes in a large healthcare ecosystem.

This remote role requires collaboration with business and segment leaders, documentation of current state architectures, and a focus on cloud-enabled modernization while maintaining robust, scalable technology strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience as a senior application and/or solution architect or technical lead in large company spanning multiple enterprise systems.
• 10+ years hands-on design, development, and testing of software applications.
• 3-5 years of experience in Cloud technologies, Cloud migration or Enterprise Architecture.
• Expert knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture pattern development and application, cloud architectures and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strong advocate for the business within IT and ensure technology execution aligns with business strategy.
• Help achieve value-driven outcomes by ensuring Humana’s Technology Strategy aligns with corporate vision and segment business strategies.
• Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with stakeholders to deliver value through architecture guidance and execution support.
• Serve as an evangelist for lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to align business vision and strategy to value streams, capabilities, and functions.
