Job summary

Fort Bend Independent School District seeks a Senior Applications Programmer to serve as a technical lead for enterprise applications. You will analyze requirements, implement solutions, develop integrations, automate processes, and support reporting and analytics to strengthen digital transformation across the district.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage projects, and ensure security and compliance while leveraging cloud and AI-enabled approaches to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5 years experience supporting and developing enterprise applications in complex environments.
• Minimum of 5 years experience supporting application implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in K-12 education, public sector, or similarly complex organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead for configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications.
• Analyze requirements, implement solutions, and develop system integrations.
• Gather user requirements and develop interfaces and extracts between systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for supported systems, integrations, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, FERPA, data governance and regulations.
