Job summary

Fort Bend County is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee the development, implementation and support of enterprise software across a multi‑platform environment. You will supervise staff, ensure timely delivery within budget, and coordinate with IT PMO on requirements, vendor relations, and procurement.

The role requires a BA/CS degree, 10 years of relevant experience including 5 in supervision, and strong ASP.Net, database and multi‑platform skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred.
10 years of job-related experience including 5 years supervisory/management experience required.
Full stack development experience including knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio focusing on ASP.Net.
Experience with one or more common databases and / or data modeling tools.

Responsibilities

Oversees development/implementation and support of all enterprise software applications in a multi‑platform environment.
Monitors status, deliverables, timelines, and budget for all software implementation and upgrade projects.
Manages staff performance, hiring, evaluation and discipline.
Coordinates with IT PMO, vendors and procurement to ensure timely and cost‑effective solutions.
