Job summary

The role reports to the Director of Information Technology, provides training and performance feedback, and prepares project-status reports and budget insights for county leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, information systems, or related field preferred.
• 7 years of experience with 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Proficiency in VB.NET, C#.NET, .NET Core, PowerBuilder, HTML, XML, JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server and PL/SQL.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of applications support staff and development staff.
• Meet project, team, and department deadlines.
• Oversee SDLC for applications under responsibility.
• Provide periodic reports on project status and resource forecasts.
• Train, counsel, supervise and appraise staff for growth.
• On-call 24/7 for IT support issues.
• Assist in IT department budgeting.
