Job summary

ON Data Staffing is seeking a Principal AI Consulting Lead for our client, an established Data & AI consultancy, to transform AI strategies into scalable, production-ready solutions.

This senior, client-facing role blends AI strategy, technical leadership, solution design and consulting delivery, working closely with enterprise stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and guide engineering teams through complex implementations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AI, ML, data science, engineering or technical consulting.
• 5+ years of client-facing consulting or enterprise advisory experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI solutions.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, RAG, LLMs and agentic AI frameworks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical teams and supporting commercial engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI strategy discussions, discovery workshops and technical engagements.
• Design and guide solutions involving Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI and intelligent automation.
• Advise on AI architecture, model selection, orchestration, evaluation and production readiness.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and commercially viable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to AI Engineers, ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Support presales activities, technical proposals and solution scoping.
• Establish best practices across AI governance, security, monitoring and scalability.
