Job summary

Board of Innovation is seeking an Applied AI Lead to steer day-to-day delivery of complex AI engagements across strategy, product, technology and transformation. You will help clients define where AI can create meaningful value and drive cross-functional teams to implement real solutions.

You will work with Directors to translate business needs into practical AI roadmaps, prototypes, and adoption plans, maintaining focus on measurable outcomes and enterprise-scale impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, agency, venture building, or product.
• Hands-on use of modern AI tools in real work.
• Experience leading significant workstreams or delivery for strategy or transformation engagements.
• Ability to translate between business ambition and technical feasibility.
• Experience contributing to proposals, engagement scoping, or growing client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Connect Applied AI to the broader transformation, including business case and adoption.
• Lead product discovery with client teams and end users to define problems.
• Shape AI products from concept through prototype, build, deployment and adoption.
• Define what to build first, success criteria, and scope to maximize value.
• Lead AI engineers, designers, and client teams to align business and technical needs.
• Prototype and test ideas using modern AI tools, agents, workflows, and automations.
• Keep work grounded in real users and measurable outcomes.
